Poetry in Motion
Find a world where poets, painters, and pastry shops keep rhythm with the soulful sounds of Fado music and medieval marvels on an escorted tour of Portugal. Stroll through medieval Obidos, and see the tomb of explorer Vasco da Gama at Lisbon’s Jeronimos Monastery. Explore Tomar, former seat of the Order of the Knight's Templar, and tour Henry the Navigator's Promontory of Sagres near Cape St. Vincent. Stand in the shadows of a 14th-century castle in the charming town of Belmonte, and light a candle in the pilgrim procession through miraculous Fátima. Try local specialties in a renowned vineyard and raise your spirits and a glass of port in a world-famous wine cellar.
First of all, the people on the tour, including our hosts John and Theresa Bishop were very friendly and welcoming. Many on the tour were well seasoned travellers. We enjoyed conversing and getting to know everyone.

The scenery of Scotland, especially the highlands and northern Islands such as the Orkney Islands were beautiful and we wish we had more time to spend there.
We have lovely memories of meeting our ‘coach’ folks and sharing the beautiful views of Scotland with you.
