NAMASTE TRIP TO INDIA
In October 2008, a unique pairing between a local travel agency, a renowned chef and restauranteur and 20 travelers resulted in a generous donation to BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre Foundation from Carlson Wagonlit Travel Kerrisdale. The sold-out, three-week tour included visits to organic farms and spice gardens, private cooking schools, the country’s top restaurants and palaces.
Namaste, the culinary tour of India organized and escorted by Jenny Karmali at Carlson Wagonlit Travel Kerrisdale raised $19,000 for the Foundation. John Bishop led the tour, which gave participants a real taste of life in India and some great memories.
